In its wholesale business, CFAO Healthcare ensures daily deliveries to approximately 580 retail pharmacies, hospitals, and public entities across Africa and the French overseas territories. This extensive distribution network is facilitated through collaboration with a network of companies under the umbrella of CFAO Healthcare.
These “wholesale distributor” companies have been established in partnership with local pharmacists and, in many cases, hold leadership positions in their respective markets.
Beyond their role in distribution, these companies actively engage in shaping and contributing to the healthcare policies of their respective countries or territories.
This dual role reflects their commitment not only to the efficient supply chain of healthcare products but also to the broader development and enhancement of healthcare systems in the regions they serve.

These entities were established to cater to the specific requirements of generic pharmaceutical companies aiming to position their products in close proximity to their pharmacist clients.
Key responsibilities
Order Execution and Delivery: Handling the execution and delivery of orders placed by retail pharmacists in collaboration with these client companies.
Import Procedures: Managing all import procedures on behalf of client pharmaceutical companies to ensure a seamless entry into the respective regions.
Additionally, changes in regulations related to over-the-counter pharmaceutical products enable these entities to offer complementary services to pharmacist groups.
This strategic approach allows for efficient distribution and accessibility of pharmaceutical products within the specified regions, meeting the needs of both pharmaceutical companies and retail pharmacists.
